Job Description

You’ll be responsible for identifying and converting leads, developing strong relationships with business owners, and positioning our agency as the go-to solution for their branding and marketing needs. Reporting directly to the directors, you’ll manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring clients receive top-tier service that matches their needs.

Skills and Experience

To excel in this role, you should have:  

  • Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in branding, design, or marketing services.  
  • A solid understanding of marketing principles and branding strategies.  
  • The ability to persuade and negotiate effectively, converting leads into loyal clients.  
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English.  
  • A proactive and client-focused approach, with the ability to anticipate and address client needs.  
  • Strong networking skills to establish and nurture long-term business relationships.  
  • The ability to work independently and meet goals while collaborating with internal teams.  
  • Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple leads and opportunities simultaneously.

Typical Activities

As a Business Development Specialist, your day-to-day activities will include:  

  • Lead Generation and Conversion: Research and approach potential clients, highlighting our branding and marketing services.  
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain trust with clients to foster long-term partnerships.  
  • Pitching and Presenting: Deliver impactful presentations tailored to client needs, showcasing how our agency can solve their branding challenges.  
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with creative teams to develop strategies that align with client goals.  
  • Market Insights: Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitive activities to identify new opportunities.  
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on lead status, pipeline activity, and sales performance.
